                                            2.
                                            >in fact, she seemed to not be on the premises at all
 -
                                            3.
                                            >the door to the guest room was wide open, leading into a pitch black cave with no mare or crutches
 -
                                            4.

 -
                                            7.
                                            >morning carefully came within earshot, green smoothly coming online and pausing her music
 -
                                            8.
                                            >on the bright blue screen, morning caught a capital A and a capital C on either side of a preposition
 -
                                            9.

 -
                                            10.
                                            >morning sat down on her rump
 -
                                            11.
                                            >"hi filly~"
 -
                                            12.
                                            >"hey"
 -
                                            13.

                                            >"sorry i made you sad earlier" green said quietly and mournfully
 -
                                            15.
                                            >"ohhh greenie, its ok."
 -
                                            16.
                                            >green made melancholic eye contact, having gotten it off her chest
 -
                                            17.
                                            >"my parents really like you"
 -
                                            18.

 -
                                            19.
                                            >"i didnt really say much though" green said sheepishly
 -
                                            20.
                                            >morning scooted closer
 -
                                            21.
                                            >"they're like me Greenie, they can tell deep down if somepony is a kind soul"
 -
                                            22.
                                            >green sank her head in her shoulders, still with a lump in her throat
 -
                                            23.
                                            >"my dad especially. Luna, weve been here for ages" morning added on, in slight awe
 -
                                            24.
                                            >green was blank for a second as they both reminisced on the story that led her and her family to this humble town
 -
                                            25.
                                            >"you know..." green shifted up as her voice came to life
 -
                                            26.
                                            >"...you know my dads from Jamareca, so like, of course i learned how to talk a good bit from him." green started, looking up into the stars,
 -
                                            27.
                                            >"so when i was, like, super young and starting school, nopony could understand what i was saying,"
 -
                                            28.
                                            >"i would go up to a filly and be like 'BAKBAKYOSCRIBLAFOSENFIDADESKMarr' and they'd just be like 'what the...'" green slipped into a near perfect jamarecan accent for her little bit
 -
                                            29.
                                            >morning laughed cutely at the story, green looked back on her with a sincere smile
 -
                                            30.
                                            >(autors nose: what green said in plain english was 'pull your pencil out of the desk so i can borrow it, mare')
 -
                                            31.

 -
                                            32.
                                            >"my mom spent *so* long trying to get him to break it, but i bet he's absolutely fried since he moved back there" green chuckled
 -
                                            33.
                                            >"when did you see him last?"
 -
                                            34.
                                            >green thought for a hard second
 -
                                            35.
                                            >"i didnt go for hearths warming sooooo, i think like last june?"
 -
                                            36.
                                            >"do you know how hes doing?"
 -
                                            37.
                                            >"oh hes A-Ok, just chillin there with, shit, i guess shes my stepmom now" green said, realizing that they got married for the millionth time
 -
                                            38.
                                            >morning did a little sad 'aww,'
 -
                                            39.
                                            >"is she nice?"
 -
                                            40.
                                            >"nice enough, to me at least"
 -
                                            41.
                                            >a frog croaked in response over the background noise of chirping crickets
 -
                                            42.
                                            >"it just, what you said earlier... i wish you didnt have to feel like that."
 -
                                            43.
                                            >green slunk a bit, like she just did something awful
 -
                                            44.
                                            >"so i did make you sad?" green whimpered out
 -
                                            45.
                                            >"yeah..." morning felt herself take the hit, "it's just, i dont know where id be without my parents. i mean, i would *literally* be dead" she continued
 -
                                            46.
                                            >they both felt that one
 -
                                            47.
                                            >"and you're one of the strongest mares i know, but it's like, i just wish you had it better, thats all."
 -
                                            48.
                                            >greens eyes were wiggly
 -
                                            49.
                                            >"morning, filly. youve been nothing but good to me, and so have your parents."
 -
                                            50.
                                            >morning wordlessly scooted over and laid her head on the front of green's shoulder
 -
                                            51.
                                            >green slid over and sidehugged her into her neck
 -
                                            52.
                                            >the one curl in morning's mane swayed back and forth slightly
 -
                                            53.
                                            >the sound of greens hoof petting mornings fur jumped out into the quiet night
 -
                                            54.
                                            >"hey morning"
 -
                                            55.
                                            >the white mare broke her gaze to look attentively up at her marefriend
 -
                                            56.
                                            >"do they know were like... together?"
 -
                                            57.
                                            >morning giggled
 -
                                            58.
                                            >"what kind of question is that silly? of course they do."
 -
                                            59.
                                            >"i know, but. like." greens cheeks were getting some color as she stammered, "are they, like, cool with it?"
 -
                                            60.
                                            >morning righted herself, gave green a smooch on the cheek and a hug around her neck
 -
                                            61.
                                            >"theyre just happy that i am~" morning said in greens ear
 -
                                            62.
                                            >then committed to climbing all the way up into green's chair, nestling herself in the crook of her left shoulder
 -
                                            63.

                                            >green's chest would softly rise and fall, then morning's would inflate and deflate in Green's hooves
 -
                                            65.
                                            >the chirping crickets had settled down, a deep croaking frog called out from deep in the woods
 -
                                            66.
                                            >such a peaceful place her family called home
