                                            >Logistically this was a blessing for the small office, though not all saw it as one

                                            >For Derpy Hooves the slow pace proved rather boring, to nobody's surprise the ever bubbly and excitable mare longed for adventure, more people to meet, more things to do

                                            >Her request would certainly be granted, perhaps more than she had bargained for
 -

                                            >As if on cue a small, manilla-colored pegasus dashed her way over to Derpy and handed her a freshly sealed envelope
 -

                                            >"Boss wants to see ya," She said abruptly, already turning to leave
 - 
                                            9.
                                            >"Did she say why?"
 - 
                                            10.
                                            >"No idea but it's best not to keep her waiting."
 -

                                            >With that she sped off, leaving Derpy alone with a heap of questions and no answers

                                            >Deciding to heed the warning of her colleague she trotted off towards the supervisor's office

                                            >It was tucked away in a corner of the building, the only notable thing differentiating it from the rest of the rooms was a faded plaque that said "Office of Supervisor Flitter"

                                            >With a deep breath, Derpy opened the door and was met with the judgmental Supervisor Flitter Swish staring back at her
 -

                                            >Despite the cheery name, she was anything but.
 -

                                            >Supervisor Flitter was a tall, professional unicorn mare that oversaw everything that happened regarding the ponyville mail system
 -

                                            >Nobody liked her all that much but she got the mail where it needed to go
 - 
                                            18.
                                            >It also helped she rarely stepped outside her office
 - 
                                            19.
                                            >"Come in," She said, gesturing to the empty seat in front of the spartan desk
 - 
                                            20.
                                            >Nervousely Derpy entered the plain office, feeling a sense of anxiety shadowing her every step
 - 
                                            21.
                                            >Hardly anyone got called in here, when they did it nearly always meant something bad
 - 
                                            22.
                                            >It was true she hadn't been the perfect employee
 - 
                                            23.
                                            >She may have dropped a package here and there
 - 
                                            24.
                                            >And maybe she got the addresses wrong a few times
 - 
                                            25.
                                            >But did that really warrant being axed in person by Flitter?
 - 
                                            26.
                                            >Surely not
 -

                                            >Despite these reassurances the feeling remained, only amplified as the mare across from her spoke once more in her familiar cold tone

                                            >"I have a special assignment for you Ms. Hooves"
 - 
                                            29.
                                            >She blinked in surprise
 - 
                                            30.
                                            >Nobody ever gave her special assignments, certainly not ones handed down from the boss herself
 -

                                            >"Ms. Hooves?" She repeated
 - 
                                            32.
                                            >Immediately she snapped to attention, banishing the questions she desired to ask
 - 
                                            33.
                                            >"Oh uh yes Mrs. Flitter?"
 - 
                                            34.
                                            >"Listen closely this is important. The envelope you were handed earlier contains instructions and a letter you must deliver to the address written on it. I assume you can handle that?"
 - 
                                            35.
                                            >"Yes of course!" She replied, raising a hoof to her forehead in salute
 - 
                                            36.
                                            >"I was assured by one Twilight Sparkle that you would be the right pony for this job. Do not let me down."
 - 
                                            37.
                                            >"Wouldn't dream of it, ma'am!" She beamed
 - 
                                            38.
                                            >"Now run along," Flitter said, waving her away with her hoof
